Letter from Henry Travis to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter Owen is informed of the death of Travis' mother. Travis recalls, that on hearing of his mother being struck by "partial paralysis" he travelled to to his mothers home in Hartlepool and, despite a brief rally, her condition worsened and on Saturday she died.

Travis remarks that Louis Blanc remains in London and he hopes this is still the case when Travis returns in the next few days.
