Letter from Robert Allsop to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter, in which Allsop denies he is the author of a pamphlet on taxation. He is adamant that the ideas contained within the pamphlet are his father's (Thomas Allsop), and in fact he himself is only responsible for "the composition and expression of his thought, which I have endeavoured to convey in a more clean and connected form".
