Letter from Jacob Dixon to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter Dixon writes of his belief that Owen and his friends have, for some time, found it "unacceptable" that he occupies the position [of Secretary] at the [National Equitable Labour Exchange, John Street Institute]; with that in mind, Dixon explains that to "remain under such circumstances is most unpleasant" and therefore he is glad Mr Austin will take his place.
