Letter from John D[unn] Hunter to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter: Hunter informs Owen that he has arrived safely six days since they parted. The focus of the letter is in regards to a pecuniary debt that Hunter owes Owen. Hunter is waiting for somebody who owes him money to arrive in town. If he does not receive the money soon he will write to his attorney in Philadelphia and ask him to send money to Owen.

Hunter then asks whether Owen has bought any land in America yet with the intention of setting up a new colony.
