Letter from George Cormack to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter Cormack explains of his awareness of Owen's plans for "ameliorating the physical organic and moral condition of the whole human family" and writes of his agreement with these. He continues, that whilst he has not had a great education through books, he has however a measure of experience, in particular in his job as an architect in Wick, Scotland, and hopes to use this experience to help Owen build a community. Cormack closes by stating that Owen may publish this letter in any of his publications if he desires.
