Letter from Jane D Owen to Robert Owen

Archive Unit

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter discussing the possibility of Jane [and her mother and sister] moving home. A proposed house in Kirkaldy has fallen through and at present no other suitable property forcing them to "give up all thoughts of it"; a house in Hamilton is being considered instead.

Jane writes that her mother continues in good health and asks of Owen when the Vera Cruz packet [boat] is due to sail as she would like to write.
