Letter from Henry Travis to Robert Owen

Manuscript letter, which opens with Travis telling Owen he has decided against travelling with the Marchioness of Donegal and her son the Earl of Belfast. He explains that the convictions against outweighed the convictions for, and thus he will have the "pleasure" of continuing with whatever work Owen has for him.

Discussion turns to the content and printing arrangements for the forthcoming editions of Robert Owen's Journal, with Travis asking Owen to clarify the arrangements for his "life"[story]; is to appear in the Journal and an autobiography, or an autobiography alone.
