Manuscript letter, which opens with brief account of the progress Rigby has made with tasks carried out on his behalf.

The fate of the Atlas newspaper is discussed, with Rigby believing it to be going "down, down, down". This is despite [Louis] Kossuth having been appointed editor of the paper; still no profit was made.
