In this manuscript letter Rigby provides an account of his progress carrying out tasks and errands on Owen's behalf. This includes forwarding Owen a number of newspapers and indicating he will call at the offices of The Illustrated London News and tell them "in Saxon language" what he thinks of them for not sending Owen a perfect copy of the Illustrated to replace the imperfect one Owen had returned.
