Letter from James Rigby to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter Rigby provides Owen with a comprehensive update of the progress he has made with tasks carried out on his behalf. This includes delivering items to the [Buckingham] Palace and visiting Mr [James] Cowan, whom he found to be a "self educated man, very stout and very stubborn - not very gram[m]atical, but containing some very good points".
