Letter from William Bridge to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter inviting Owen to visit Bolton. Owen will deliver the opening lecture at the new Hall of Science in Radcliffe Bridge; Bridge hopes that Owen will then "come over to Bolton the remainder of the week." He writes that "there are a great number of people...earnestly wishing that you would come back to Bolton" and requests that "if you can make it convenient to come...you will deliver the same course of lectures as you are delivering in Huddersfield."
