Letter from Geo. A. Fleming to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter making reference to Owen's intention of setting up the Social Reformer as a sister paper to the New Moral World. Fleming describes Owen's aim in setting-up the Reformer "fair and feasible" as it would enable them to reach "a class of society the World cannot" and so recommend to them the " principles of Socialism". Fleming wonders could the World not have been run more efficiently and at less cost as he feels there could be a "division of our forces" and continues comprehensively detailing his thoughts on the proposed publication of the Reformer.
