Letter from James Rigby to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

This manuscript letter opens with Rigby providing a brief account of his progress carrying out tasks and errands on Owen's behalf. This includes delivering Owen's works to number of individuals and providing the press with the latest copy of the Millennial Gazette.

Rigby writes that he has been so busy that he has not even been near the [Social Science] League Office and nor has been able to pay close attention to the proceedings of [Edward] Truelove's legal case, though he has heard the trial will not take place until next year.
