Letter from John Finch to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

This manuscript letter opens with discussion of a article carried in the Daily News, which gives an account of a paper sent to the British Association by E.J. Larkin regarding the experiment [of building a community] by [John Scott] Vandeleur at Rathlahine [Ireland].

Finch writes of reading of the proposed Great Free Trade Congress, Brussels, Belgium; thinks Owen should go, as there he would meet "men of the most advanced minds from all countries".
