Letter from John Finch to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter discussion refers to the approaching Congress [of the Rational Society]. Finch writes he agrees with Owen on the arrangements he suggested - their friends in Leeds and the surrounding areas will be disappointed if they cannot see the delegates; agrees that a small committee of "prominent men" can arrange the proceedings [of the Congress] perfectly well.

Further discussion is of religious matters.
