Letter from Henry Travis to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

This manuscript letter opens with Travis sending compliments of the season and remarking "in these times of progress who knows what another year may bring!"

Travis comments on what he believes is the difference between Owen and the Democrats, feeling that the Democrats say things must be changed "for our good" whereas Owen says (to the Aristocrats) things must be changed "for the good of all".
