Scope and Content

Manuscript copy of Owen's Petition to Her Majesty Queen Victoria. In the Petition Owen requests Her Majesty to encourage the governments of Europe and America to unite with the British Government and introduce a "New System" as devised by Owen. Owen also remarks that Her Majesty's father was "most anxious" for the "introduction and success" of the system.
