Letter from James Livingstone to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter James Livingstone informs Robert Owen that he had the pleasure of reading his address that he made to the constituency of Oldham, and that he was introduced to Owen's work through a deceased relative. Livingstone then states the main purpose of his letter, asking whether Owen would "take the trouble of answering" some questions that Livingstone has, if he was to send them to him.
