Manuscript letter in which Clarke expresses regret at not hearing of Owen's thoughts on his 'plan', which is to find a cheap alternative for steam. Asks Owen if he can think of any other source or individual able to help [provide financial backing] with the 'plan'; the name of Mr [William] Pare is put forward by Clarke as a possibility.
