Manuscript letter, making reference to a letter which appeared in an Oldham Penny Periodical which contained "other matters in a still worse spirit". Fox writes he will not be drawn into "a Controversy" about the letter, and thinks the best course of action is to produce a "gratuitous Circular to the Oldham people".
