Letter from James Jennings to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter referring to a "work on Birds"[? The Pleasures of Ornithology. A Poem], and some pamphlets. Owen is asked to read the work and, if he approves, to "order a good number of copies to be dispersed in America". Jennings explains he has taken "sole risk" for the publication of the work.

The pamphlets, Jennings explains, have been written by himself and Mr Hamilton, and if Owen requires any copies they can be provided for him.
