Letter from James Nockles to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter in which Nockles, Secretary of the Glasgow Branch of the "The Association of All Classes of All Nations" asks Owen if he will be visiting Glasgow in a public capacity, having heard that he is currently in Edinburgh. He says that they are persevering "slowly, but we think surely" with establishing their Branch; but that he expected a Branch to have been formed in Edinburgh or Leith before this time.
