Minutes from a meeting held at Fixby Hall, Yorkshire

Scope and Content

Manuscript minutes from a meeting held on the 17 May 1837. Present were Richard Oastler, Joseph Raynes [?], Robert Owen, Jas. B. [?], William Stocks, George Fleming and Alex Campbell. It was resolved that the government should advance capital to aide the unemployed. The minutes are signed by those present, [although it appears that the signatures are in the same hand].
