Letter from M Goupy to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter informing Owen that a man named Deflotte is now in the National Assembly. Goupy hopes that he will destroy the bad effect of the proud and threatening errors of L Blanc and Proudhon.

Goupy informs Owen that a law to reduce the number of electors is to be voted upon but he doesn't hold out much hope for refural of sanction. He feels more laws against liberty will follow.
