Letter from Henry Travis to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter, in which Owen is advised pen an article for his Journal recalling his trip to Ireland in [in the 1820s]. Travis believes the benefits would be two-fold; it would provide an instalment of his reminiscences and would also add to the interest gained through the excellent address contained in the Report. It is also suggested that having written about Ireland Owen could then begin from the beginning [of his life] and write about the "development of his mind".
