Letter from Geo. A. Fleming to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter, addressed to Owen at the home of James Hill, Wisbech, Owen is asked to make his return to London and meet with Mr [William] Pare on a matter of "utmost importance to the welfare of the Association [of All Classes of All Nations]. Fleming also wishes to see Owen regarding his proposed lectures in the Town Hall.

Fleming discusses his recent move [from the Manchester/Salford area to Birmingham] made by him and his family, explaining they are "already exhibiting the most gratifying evidences of the beneficial nature of the change" in their home life, while in terms of work he "finds his own position is far superior".
