Letter from James Rigby to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter Rigby provides an account of his progress carrying out tasks and errands on Owen's behalf. This includes forwarding Owen newspapers and making arrangements for the printing of the proceedings from the recent Congress.

Rigby vouches for the character of [Charles William] Gregory, who has recently been helping him, explaining he believes him to be "more than a man of words" and trustworthy.
