Letter from Henry Price to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter informing Owen that Goupy had suffered several weeks imprisonment as a result of his attempts "to unite the Socialists by some common principles". Furthermore, despite Goupy being the only representative of Owen's views in Paris (having promoted them through his now suspended publication "Peuple"), he felt Owen's failure to have his various articles in favour of the "System" translated, had "given him no signs of hope" or support.
