Letter from James Rigby to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter Rigby writes of delivering Owen's parcels to [Buckingham] Palace, the Belgian Ambassadors residence and the French Ambassadors residence. In the latter case, the parcel was to be passed onto the Emperor of France, but the person manning the gate informed Rigby they would no longer be willing to forward any papers that were not official.
