Letter from M. D. Fretageot to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter Fretageot writes of her delight of Owen intentions in calling on her [in Philadelphia] so that she will be able to learn from Owen all she would "wish to know" [about the educational facilities at New Harmony, Indiana]. This information is needed so that can inform Mr [William] MacLure before he leaves France as he would be able to "collect everything proper for the new Colony [New Harmony, Indiana]".
