Manuscript letter thanking Owen for sending letters and books to he and Price. Goupy says he was preparing a book along similar lines, however, since the coup d'etat of the President he has been meeting much resistance in selling his books. Goupy tells Owen that his bookseller has had to send copies of his almanack back to him as it is prohibited by the police. Goupy notes that the President's agents don't even take the time to read the books that they condemn.
