Letter from George Combe to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter Combe requests information regarding an article which appeared in the Phrenological Journal, in which it was alleged that Combe had examined the head of John Gibson and affirmed he had a "very bad disposition". Combe clearly believes it was not him and requests to know who indeed it was and what was really said.
