Letter from Robert Owen to George Villiers and Henry John Temple, Lord Palmerston

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter: Owen informs Lords Clarendon and Palmerston that he has called a "Congress of the Reformers of the world," for the purpose of proposing the best measures of changing "past and present, false and evil system of society over the world" and installing the "true and good" system.

Owen desires meetings with the two lordships so that he may discuss his intentions.
