Letter from T [?] Philadelphia to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter Philadelphia explains he idea of "hydrostatical paradox" whereby sea water would be blown with the aid of bellows across land through canals. These canals could then be stocked with fish to provide a food source. Owen is advised that any future land bought to establish a community upon should be high ground adjacent to the sea.
