In this copy manuscript letter Owen replies to the questions put to him by Morrell in a previous letter (ROC/13/63/1). He assures Morrell he never taught Atheism nor has he never thought of any scheme of Atheism, nor did he use the term God or nature from the commencement of his public talking and asserts the members of New Harmony "had no test of belief & were not required to pay £50" to enter.
