Letter from Vincent Cooke to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter Cooke writes of his sorrow on hearing that Owen is to leave the country (to visit the United States of America, where he would stay for the majority of the following two years). Cooke writes that he hopes to see Owen again one day, and affirms that he will be a disciple [of Owen] for the rest of his life despite changes at Harmony [Hall, Tytherley, Hampshire] causing him to "[have] reduced one half of my love for that establishment".
