Notice of James Quarterman's Lectures

Scope and Content

Printed notice for a series of lectures to be delivered by Quarterman in Wallingford, [Oxfordshire]. The first two lectures are to be on Co-operation and the last two, for children, on Astrology. In the lectures on Co-operation the "prominent views" of a Co-operative Society will be sketched out, and here they are specified in six points.

Annotated on the rear of the notice is a letter from Quarterman in which he notes having a great desire to see Owen so that he may explain the measure he has put in place to promote Owen's "System of Co-operation" in the neighbourhood.

Quarterman also requests a superintendent job at a school of co-operation.
