Letter from D. Macdonald to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter Macdonald explains he keep in touch with Owen's affairs despite circumstances currently forcing him to live the life of a farmer in Caithness, [Scotland]. There he tends to his duties, but bemoans the lack of "Society" in the area. However, his mind is still fixed on the "truth" and he encourages Owen to open a London Club with "people of a like mind"; Macdonald could then become a corresponding member.
