Manuscript letter, the first half of which Alger outlines his (and Mr George Dempsey's) thoughts as regards the layout and content of the forthcoming volume of New Moral World. The proposals are detailed in a list of 7 points.

The second half of the letter a communication Alger has received from a Mr [Samuel] Wilderspin [author of the Importance of Educating the Infant Poor] is discussed. and Alger remarks on the fact that it is undated, but was stamped with a Liverpool postmark on the 5th October 1836.
