Letter from Samuel Cornish to Robert Owen

Manuscript letter in which Cornish expresses his delight with a lecture given by Owen the previous evening and remarks he has never heard him "more happy and effective"; writes of sending for a copy of the "Manifesto" for his friend [John] Jones and asks Owen to sign it, although care must be taken as Jones is "the champion and leader of the Irish Church Party" and therefore cannot be seem to be "much acquainted" with Owen; notes it should be signed to "John Jones esq, ex-sherif of Dublin"
