Manuscript letter, in which Hamilton informs Owen that he has been in poor health and the community at Orbiston has been abandoned following the death of Abram Combe [of Edinburgh], with whom he had collaborated to set up the scheme. He is of the opinion that none of the "money supporters seemed to care anything about it."
