Letter from Alex Morison to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter opening with Morison declaring that an "Anti-Poison Society" and an "Anti-Poison Press" should be established and offering a detailed explanation of the method by which this should be done. This includes the purchasing land close to the centre of London on which a lecture room which is able to house two printing offices with printing presses to the value of £3000 should be erected. The necessary money being raised through the sale of shares.

Also included are two printed tracts of a religious nature on which Morison has made a number of annotations, labelling one "the lies of priests".
