Letter from H P Sandman to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter from H P Sandman, Secretary of the South London Mechanics Institute accepting Owen's offer to give two or three lectures to the members of the Institute. He says that Owen should give his first lecture on 12 April. He asks Owen to reply with the name of the lecture he intends on giving so it can be announced at the next meeting of the Institute.

On the reverse of Sandman's letter are notes written by Owen, that may be possible subjects on which he will lecture. These include beneficial changes on the mental and physical condition of society.
