Letter from M Goupy to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter informing Owen that he knows of some of the ideas of Louis Napoleon and that they are not quite the same as his. However, he does see in him some good ideas and hopes Owen will come to France when Louis Napoleon is elected.

Goupy has recently received a proposition for making a paper in the provinces in opposition to those in Paris. He suggests that he and Owen contribute some money to this endeavour. He informs Owen of the printing charges.
