Letter from D. Macdonald to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Lengthy manuscript letter in which Macdonald put forward his theories regarding the nature of the human spirit. Macdonald differs from, what he perceives is, Owen's view that the spirit is passive, instead believing that it is active. Macdonald makes various references to Greek Scriptures, and closes the letter with a passage in Greek.
