Letter from M Goupy to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter informing Owen that he has not yet received from him the publication which he mentioned in a previous letter. When it arrives he will see if there is anything that he can take from it for the 1851 almanack. Goupy feels that despite all their publications he doesn't think their ideas will be adopted in France. He says that recent laws have restored the power of money and that Louis Napoleon favours the popular interests.

Goupy goes on to give an update on Price noting that he is always very sad.
