Letter from Samuel Cornish to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter informing Owen that his disciples are not "inactive" with the enclosed pamphlets providing evidence of this. Cornish writes that over one thousand copies of the pamphlets have been distributed.

Cornish continues by explaining his efforts to convince two brothers named Jones, who reside in Manchester and Dublin and are in receipt of not less than £20,000 per annum, to become "active supporters" of the system that both Owen and Cornish believe in.
