Manuscript letter: Brand has forwarded Owen's letter to Judge Edmonds. He is awaiting interview at the Foreign Office regarding an outstanding payment of £9,000; he intends to complain about the "fraudulent conduct" of the Hon. R. Bingham: "this man Bingham is a jobber and he wanted me to sell him this claim...I am now thinking it an act of justice to bring charges against him and to send them before Parliament." Brand reflects upon his relationship with "the spirits" and considers the work of Faraday and Newton.
