Letter from Henry Travis to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter Travis writes of his disapproval of the advertisements, although he concedes that his thoughts will do little to change Owen's mind regarding them.

Travis asks if Owen has seen news of the death of Étienne Cabet from apoplectic fit in St Louis, Missouri; he wonders if the worry of the discussions in his "camp" have killed the "noble hearted man".
