Manuscript letter: Vieusseux informs Owen he has not received any more journals since issue 33, and asks that more be sent to him. He then provides a list of people and organizations that were forwarded journals.
He states that he has received a full set of the journal, The Christian Socialist, and believes this publication to be "quite in the spirit of this age of cooperation." He then gives his opinion on religion and socialism, stating that until now they appear to have been at odds with one another, but due to a "social sermon" by a Church of England vicar, they may be finally coming together.
Vieusseux ends the letter by congratulating Owen on reaching his 81st birthday in good health.
